Snow on the 2nd February 2009
The snow that fell on Whitchurch in early February 2009 may have made the village a winter wonderland for the young at heart but it was a different story for people travelling to work! Video by Nick Brazil
Wild Neighbours
This video shows barn owls hunting in the evening over the fields between Eastfield Lane and the river, dropping silently into the grass from time to time to seize a mouse or a vole. Nick Brazil made this video in June 2009.
Remembrance Sunday 2006
On the nearest Sunday to November 11th each year a service is held at the war memorial to commemorate the sacrifices of Whitchurch-on-Thames and Whitchurch Hill in two world wars. Traffic on the hill stops in respect while the names of those who died are recalled and wreaths are placed on the memorial. Here is Nick Brazil's video of the 2006 event.
